Archer's Choice MAX Rangefinders - Green

The new Archer’s Choice MAX is designed to take your bowhunting to the next level. Delivering incredible .1 yard increment readings and a greater ranging capability, this rangefinder meets the demands of the toughest hunts. Features include a larger ocular for easy viewing, a wider field of view. First Target/Distant Target Priority mode and newly developed Active Brightness Control Viewfinder is designed to offer the advantages of both traditional LCD (liquid crystal display) and an LED (light-emitting diode) display in order to provide better visibility and contrast in varying light conditions. The core of the technology is the latest LCD with automatic brightness control to the LED illumination. Utilizing this new technology, Nikon has optimized the viewfinder display to detect the brightness of the ground area mainly within the field of view (being influenced to a lesser degree by the brightness of the sky). By detecting the brightness within this viewing field, the rangefinder presents the newly designed LCD and will apply automatically controlled LED illumination to the LC (liquid crystal) characters by detecting the brightness within this viewing field as necessary for increased visibility. Active Brightness Control Viewfinder--In brighter conditions

The rangefinder will display the newly designed LCD, which provides suitable contrast and readability against a variety of backgrounds, together with enhanced light transmission.

Active Brightness Control Viewfinder--In darker conditions

In darker conditions, the rangefinder will automatically turn on the orange LED illumination to the liquid crystal characters for optimum visibility—even adjusting its brightness as needed for appropriate contrast against the background.

Nikon’s ID technology

Nikon’s advanced ID Technology compensates for various incline or decline shooting angles—up to an incredible +/- 89 degrees (nearly vertical up or down).

Displays in .1 yard/meter increments

The new Archer’s Choice MAX displays extremely accurate .1 yard/meter increments. The Archer's Choice displays increments of .2 yards/meters out to 100 yards/meters in ID technology mode.

First target priority mode

Allows confident ranging of objects as small as a fence post or to get an instant reading on that lone buck in the meadow.

Distance target priority mode

Displays range to the farthest target among the targets measured, ideal for accurate ranging situations where game animals may be partially obscured by grass or brush.

Easy-to-view uncluttered LCD display

For fast, easy ranging, even in bright sunlight.

Bright, multicoated 6x optics

Nikon’s legendary optics and proprietary anti-reflective coatings offer high-resolution images in most lighting conditions.

Single button operation

For fast, easy measurements. Automatically powers down after 8 seconds to reduce battery use.

Waterproof/fogproof (except battery chamber)

The Nikon Archer’s Choice MAX is designed to take your bowhunting to the next level. The Archer’s Choice MAX laser rangefinder delivers incredible .1 yard increment readings and a greater 200-yard ranging capability, to meet the demands of the toughest hunts. It’s the next generation laser rangefinder developed with the help of Ralph and Vicki Cianciarulo of Archer’s Choice.

This rangefinder by Nikon was designed with real-world bow hunting situations in mind. The Archer’s Choice MAX combines Nikon 's trademark speed, accuracy and simplicity with technology designed to give hunters the confidence to take the shot. With Nikon's advanced ID Technology it compensates for various incline or decline shooting angles, which allows bow hunters to range targets from a tree stand or in steep terrain with the same confidence and ease as ranging over flat ground. Like all Nikon Rangefinders, the Archer’s Choice MAX Rangefinder operates on a single CR2 battery.

The newly developed Active Brightness Control Viewfinder is designed to offer the advantages of both traditional LCD (liquid crystal display) and an LED (light-emitting diode) display in order to provide better visibility and contrast in varying light conditions. The core of the Nikon technology is the latest LCD with automatic brightness control to the LED illumination. By detecting the brightness within this viewing field, the rangefinder presents the newly designed LCD and will apply automatically controlled LED illumination to the LC (liquid crystal) characters by detecting the brightness within this viewing field as necessary for increased visibility.

Nikon Archer’s Choice MAX laser rangefinder also features a larger ocular for easy viewing, a wider field of view, single button operation, easy-to-view uncluttered LCD display, bright, multicoated 6x optics, distance target priority mode, first target priority mode, Nikon's ID technology and waterproof/fogproof (except battery chamber) durability.
