Patented BDC reticle

The BDC reticle allows hunters to hold 'dead-on' at ranges exceeding those previously thought possible. The BDC's unique see-through ballistic circles offer an incredible advantage for long range shooting, yet allow a normal sight picture for shorter-range shots where the crosshair itself is the aiming point.

Zero-Reset Turrets

Nikon’s two new PROSTAFF® Rimfire riflescopes give rimfire shooters and hunters a dedicated scope specifically designed for their needs. In 2011 a 4x32 with Nikoplex and 3-9x40 with BDC 150 reticle join the PROSTAFF line of riflescopes. The new PROSTAFF Rimfire 4x32 is bound to live up to the reputation of its predecessor, the 4x32 Rimfire Classic. Featuring a generous 8mm exit pupil, compact size, light weight and excellent optics. A total of 11.5 inches long, this scope promises to be a perfect match on any rimfire. Parallax is set for 50 yards and features the Nikoplex reticle and a field of view of 11.1 feet at 50
yards.

The PROSTAFF Rimfire 3-9x40 model with BDC 150 reticle gives rimfire hunters a dedicated riflescope and a Nikon’s BDC reticle to call their own, with precise aiming points that go from 50 yards (on the crosshair), to 75 yards (first circle), 100 yards (second circle), 125 yards (the third circle) and 150 yards (fourth circle). The parallax is set for 50 yards and has a field of view
of 33.8 feet at 100 yards at three power.

With the innovation and success of Nikon’s SlugHunter scopes and the BDC 200 reticle comes the introduction of the new, attractively priced PROSTAFF® Shotgun Hunter 2-7x32 in 2011. With superior optics, precise spring loaded Zero-Reset turrets and 75-yard parallax setting, this high performance riflescope incorporates Nikon’s BDC 200 reticle for accuracy at longer ranges.
